I bid a final farewell to Duncan and Sarah May at reception to SMO. I cycled to Broadford, taking photographs of the old and new roads where they were close together.
Stopping to take a photograph of The Claymore Restaurant where I had enjoyed my meal the other day, I talked to a man in a house nearby. He had travelled significantly in his past and told me about the hostels in Kyleakin, where I was bound. He recommended the Dun Cann hostel.
In Kyleakin, the Dun Cann hostel was full, so I ended up in Skye Backpackers at £11 for the night. This place was full of Aussies, just as the man in Broadford had told me.
Distance travelled today was 23 miles.
